who we are

The Sudanese Community Service of San Diego was created to support Sudanese and South Sudanese families as they adjust to life in a new environment. Many community members arrived seeking safety, education, and better opportunities, but often faced challenges such as language barriers, cultural differences, and limited access to resources. This organization was founded to provide guidance, connection, and support while preserving all Sudanese people’s culture and identity. It is a space where families, youth, and individuals can find help, build relationships, and thrive within the San Diego community.
